SONIC AND THE BLACK KNIGHT PART 22 - GETTIN PERSONNEL... KID...

Uhh... that's kinda weird. Usually it's Steam Train or whatever that's supposed to be the second daily upload on the main channel. Ah well, not a problem at all. It's back to Sonic And The Black Knight baby!
Arin and Danny face the dragon again with Shadow this time. The fight is very difficult and the run up to it is so taxing with the crumbling path that they have to do pauses and fast forwards.
Lots of funny rantings from Arin, calling Shadow a Hot Topic shopping edgelord. He was driven to it! Driven!
I don't know what the "Back to square one" thing is referencing...
Poor, tortured Arin is driven to spouting lyrics to the AVGN theme song!
Danny, if you lived in Ireland you'd be 100% certain that it's "hunky dory"! We have a delicious brand of crisps here called Hunky Dory's :)
More anguished screaming... the pain is real :(
That unavoidable chin move and weird cutscene and all the fireballs and enemies. What a mess!
Then there's the live action segment that shows the aftermath of this session. Poor Arin! Poor Barry too, who just came in to check on them out of worry.
Well... I see "Last Straw" in the title but I don't see "Finale", so there's hope :D hehehe
But yeah, some Game Grumps Animated cartoons might be made out of some of these rantings!

SONIC AND THE BLACK KNIGHT PART 21 - SEVEN MINUTES OF DESPAIR AND DEATH AND HORRIBLE FEELINGS

Then he goes on to a dragon slaying level with the same crumbling pitfalls.
I love this game but I wouldn't give Arin a hard time about it :)

SONIC AND THE BLACK KNIGHT PART 20 - AIN'T PLAYIN' WIT NO DEELDO

Arin and Danny reminisce about the Chad Warden craze and how Arin drove Suzy crazy with his impressions of him. I didn't watch those videos until recently and I can see why it became such a craze!
Very sweet of Arin to speak of Suzy so fondly and of his married life in general.
I do remember watching Anchorman in the cinema and enjoying it and the sequel. There's one joke in the sequel that absolutely floored me and it was about Brick and his shadow!

SONIC AND THE BLACK KNIGHT PART 19 - RESI FOR GHOUL GRUMPS SOUNDS GOOD!

Arin and Danny discuss the Human Centipede movies. Yeesh!
I haven't seen them or many of the other movies they discuss either. I did see Alien alright. The Ring was brilliant. I only saw the American one.
Lots of pitfalls in this stage:/ poor Arin can barely tell the creepypasta-like story with falling into them!
Wow I'd love to see them play Resident Evil with the glitched unlimited rocket launcher :) sure go ahead and do it for Ghoul Grumps! Maybe they'll read blog posts? :)

SONIC AND THE BLACK KNIGHT PART 17 - UNPAUSE AND DIE PROPHECY

Arin and Danny unpause and die, fulfilling Danny's prophecy.
Interesting stuff about speaking from the diaphragm and squeezing the throat muscles and voice training stuff.
They have played quite a few Sonic games haven't they? They may run out...
Tommy Lee Jones as the future Tommy Lee, Looper style? That's kinda funny!
Don't know an awful lot about the band Rush.

I gotta watch more Brian Regan stuff.
Danny's feeling guilty about farting in the Grump room before Rick Fox arrives. What a way to announce something! Though hey, it's before the "welcome back" thing and Rick Fox can be seen on their gamegrumpsofficial Instagram anyway so ah well.
Danny does a dramatic reading of some Tommy Lee thing.
Hmm... a die hard challenge where you're not allowed to get hit on the same level... That's kind of like Mario Galaxy.

Arin appears before the video and removes his sunglasses to give a message about Audible.com and more pairs of glasses come and go. "Let's Read" huh? :) Barry, Suzy, Ross and Brian appear in the video too to demonstrate this crazy wicked idea.
I guess my thing here is like a "Let's Blog" ah? aaaah? :P
Arin and Danny continue through the Knight's Assage.
That is a great cutscene with the big twist about the scabbard.
They do a funny version of the "Illuminati Confirmed!" number game and it's precious!
That "90s was 20 years ago" thing freaks me out too :(

It's a test of their character but they do go back to play more missions!
I'm a fan of this game but I think I'd get along with Arin :) not to worry... this game isn't in my top 10!

SONIC AND THE BLACK KNIGHT PART 12 - KING ARTHUR OF THE RAGE TABLE

Arin and Danny appear before the video all snuggled up on the couch together to advertise Game Grumps Live! at the San Diego Observatory. A belt comes off someone's pants. I won't say whose. It's very exciting!
Arin and Danny face King Arthur while singing to the background rock with their own lyrics. After a couple of minutes it's back to the walkthrough.
Lots and lots of raging for this big boss fight! Arin has more trouble with this than any Dark Souls boss! Pity Sonic can't summon his buddies or anything!

Yes we pronounce "aluminium" in Ireland the same way Ross does :)
Oh Arin my heart bleeds! When you smell like a hard day's work because you've had a hard day's work, the self-consciousness alone is hell. I guess that's a big downside of the Los Angeles heat.

Flintstones are in ads for a UK bank at the moment and there was a direct to video movie about wrestling too that was kinda recent.
Free Candy Freak Andy is a pretty clever thing! :)
Ooo they fight Percival AKA Blaze next! I love that meeting cutscene with her :) they do the funny reverse walking thing and listen to the butt rock while adding their own lyrics! She makes for a pretty tough fight! Danny has to look up a walkthrough while dodging ads with a few skills of his own.

SONIC AND THE BLACK KNIGHT PART 8 - I THINK?

Yes it's back! It looks like this will be running alongside Dark Souls III. I can settle for that! Not that it's a compromise or anything! Both are still great entertainment :)
Before the episode, Brian and Barry appear in an advertorial skit for Lootcrate. They had me going for a moment. For a moment I thought it had something to do with the new BOXBOXBOY! game on the 3DS, but nope! It's for Lootcrate :)
Why not smile? I've never played the BOXBOY! games but from what I can see, you're not opening them, just rearranging them. The skit would have to be rewritten if it was for the game! I wouldn't rewrite this skit! I love it! Barry and Brian work amazingly well together. Nice to see different dynamics in action with different pairings. Grumpcade is a great thing :)
This is another paragraph praising the skit and I'm sorry(not sorry) but isn't it just brilliant the way the camera just slowly reveals Barry lying on that table? It definitely caught me off guard and it's funny too :) Paul Greengrass wouldn't do something like that!
Anyway, Sonic Swordy. Arin and Danny are back to play their favouritest game of all time.

I know about "trots" from the Dragon Ball manga. It's the only other time I've heard diarrhoea being described that way.

SONIC AND THE BLACK KNIGHT PART 7 - GIVE ME A BREAK KNUCKLES!

Arin and Danny start on a dinger! They run across plains and face big knights.
They meet Knuckles AKA Sir Gawain and have a face off in this Stonehenge like area. They make fun of it at first by running backwards so he can't reach, listening to the music before taking him on. It's a pretty cool and ridiculous fight :)
After beating him there's another amazing cutscene where Sonic stops Knuckles from suicide by saying "Give me a break!"

SONIC AND THE BLACK KNIGHT PART 6 - WIGGLE CAM

Arin and Danny discuss the possibility of this game being someone's favourite. It's a favourite of mine! I don't mind it being criticised though because it can be bloody awkward and busyworky.
Arin appears on camera for a moment by Danny to demonstrate how easily he's winning just by wiggling!
I think this game sold alright. SEGA's recent quietness came about though when they stopped making Wii Sonic games. Since then though, things got very quiet in general.
