Hmmm... This one all depends on lightly pushing the POW block to different rails so it can move around.

Poor Arin with his voice... Danny's all ready to have dinner too.

Oh man... I love the "ohhhhhHHHH??!?! OOhhhhh?!?!!" moments they have when they come up with a possible theory. :)

It's really compelling and cosy to watch! Love Grump stuff like this :)

Arin solves it and enjoys his victory a little too much! I assume Danny happily grabs some dinner after this. It all worked so well and the food probably tasted extra good after this.

Lots of careful eggshell walking going on here. They get to the spiked helmet part and get stuck for a while again. I wasn't sure myself. Danny's right. It is cerebral! But you're like... "of course!" when you figure it out.

That Goomba part and the lava podoboo thing though? Very taxing!

Yikes, Arin's got a sore throat or something... Poor guy.

Arin and Danny explain what that millisecond lasting sound at the beginning was. Arin talks about the time Symmetra's voice actress came into the office to visit. She's his favourite character from Overwatch and she said she likes Game Grumps! Yays all around!

Single screen levels eh? Alright. They start with "Pop Secret" by Stevie ;).

Hmm some Irish roads are a bit like those, but they're getting better.

That 4 second thing Arin was doing... I highly doubt it would be that hard.

However, they figure out the stage slowly but surely and it's really cool to see their eureka moments! :) Bit of a cliffhanger too as they figure out the finer details! It's looking good!

They talk about how banks that deal with business stuff say their names weird. "Ninja Sex Party Incorporated" sounds like a laugh!

After a few attempts they beat Bowser Jr.! Arin's right, this truly was an amazing stage. Pity he didn't star it though!

They move on to "V" by もとせいねん.

Ah! That V platform pattern looks like it's being held up by a Monty Mole because they move like that. Another very clever stage with excellent use of clues :)

Arin and Danny move on to "Super Mario Vs Mecha Bowzilla" by Kiavik. They say it's a pretty popular one.

Wow that Mecha Bowzilla looks amazing! What a spectacle and you can hardly take your eyes off of it. The "legs" seem to mold to the way it's stepping so it looks kinda realistic! It inspires Danny to talk about Godzilla movies.

Ohhhh cool! It takes place inside Mecha Bowzilla after the pipe!

And then... alarms and...

Whoa, back out and it starts flying with jets!

Back in to smash another piece of it and then back out and back in again for the ultimate battle...

Yikes. The alarm sounds cool for a bout two seconds and the shaky screen effect here with the Thwomps is evil :(  more on it next time...!

Very nice autoplaying stage where they play as Pichu and the music blocks play the Pokémon Center theme and at the very end, the Pokémon healed theme. Very cute :)

Oh wow. Another great idea where you play the stage offscreen but there's a copy of the level itself onscreen you can use as a guide! Brilliant idea altogether :)

After completion, they move on to "Mario's Amusing Coin Hunt" by Carlos. Looks lovely from the thumbnail, like it's Pac-Land or something.

Love the funfair theme for this level :)

Lots of platforming challenges here alright. It's kind of like the Wario Land 2/3 style where you miss something and have to loop back to try it again.

Oh this stage is cute. Comments show up in the form of NPC dialogue :) great idea! Wouldn't other people commenting mess it up though?

Wiggler's anger is captured nicely in his dialogue!

Wow I think I saw that conspiracy video Arin's talking about! Did it have like an animated skull laughing?

Really charming level with lovely fetch quests and the dialogue gives it a sense of warmth! Ah... there are player comments but they don't appear in the level for some reason. But yeah, very clever idea :)

It's got the same idea as the last stage with the find the block thing. I like this kind of level :)

Arin and Danny play Super Mario Maker some more! They go on to "I Can Change The Future!" by Mikey. Is this a Xenoblade reference? Ah... it is :) there's the Shulk costume.

I went through the exact same Googling check Danny just went through to confirm Tom Shields' name! He's a Game Grumps fan who won gold in the Rio Olympics for swimming. Yay :)

By the way, this stage is so cool. The premonitions appear in closed off boxes and give clues on how to beat the level. Great idea and a lovely tribute to Shulk's Monado ability!

The one with the POW blocks and the doorbell has a really good feeling to it.

Mixing up Tom Shields' name becomes a running joke for the rest of the episode!

Huh... interesting bit of trivia about the Olympic Village there...

Just watched the Polish female winner of the hammer toss and the female weightlifters in Rio... wow! What lovely big teddy bear women they are :) swoon!

SUPER MARIO MAKER PART 125 - LAVA ARROW

Danny and Arin continue "Short Muncher" by Sina. This one is turning into quite a lengthy stage!

Hey hey.... those spiked enemies... they look exactly like the sea urchins from Link's Awakening :O were they in any other Mario game?

They talk about how Game Grumps is 4 years old now. I don't exactly feel like it's been around forever. It still feels like a newish thing to me.

Danny beats the stage :) but at the same time leaves the mysterious red door... What's behind it? We may never know... unless I download it and play it or view it in the editor or something. No hassle.

They move on to "スプラトゥーン　Splattack! - Splatoon" by ちゃがま. It's a beautiful looking stage from the preview!

It plays the Splatoon battle tune! One of the original ones anyway. It's pretty amazing and you'd expect this to be an automatic stage but it's not at all. Still challenging.

Next up is "Full outomatic mario全自動マリオ" by şнøтα €. It's an impressive automatic stage with shell riding and lots of springs. I like the way Mario is bouncing in celebration at the end!

Next up is "It only gets harder" by KenKnight. Ooo... that hidden Spiny was devilish!

I never thought of looking up "dictionary" in the dictionary... I have looked up "Google" in Google and don't worry! Nothing happened. :) The internet didn't break or anything!

Ah that tease-y cloud along the way...

The ending was cool with the Super Mushroom tucked away behind the flagpole! Looks pretty satisfying to do!

Next up enthusiastically is "Castle Hassle" by SwellowBrd.

Danny asks about the old Mike Matei castle joke. It was a brilliant joke and very memorable, even though it's not the most Carnegie-esque thing and poor Arin is all disclaimers and stuff. It's a tricky thing when words get out and travel around. I should keep on my toes as well since I'm doing all this blogging.

After completing the stage, they move on to "Short Muncher" by Sina.

What happened to Mario with that sound effect when he fell down the hole? There seems to be a few of these that happen randomly!

Paleo diet sounds interesting. Glad it's working out for Arin :) wonder what coconut ice cream is like? If it's made from the milk it might be nice to try out. I've never tasted coconut milk either.

Danny passes it back to Arin. Maybe that logo should disappear now? They talk a bit about Taylor Swift and about themselves and rumours about famous people that make them out to be mean. Those YouTube views she has in the billions are astounding and awesome :)

I loved that scene in Funny People with Eminem! Best thing he's ever done!

But yeah. we can all appreciate the changing of minds thing a bit more I suppose.

Control is back to Danny now. Wow that path back with the POW block is pretty treacherous!

It's not the end of the level though! Just a checkpoint! More to come!

SUPER MARIO MAKER PART 123 - THROWING SHAPES

Arin and Danny continue "The 7 Towers of Terror" by K-MONEY. It takes some doing, but they beat it!

Imagine being that age and your best friend hasn't been born yet! Pretty interesting! I was still a toddler back then.

They move on to "Hot under the Collar" by Chris. A short stage dense with enemies and Arin knocks it out of the park! Pretty satisfying! and Arin has a new love for videogames now! had us going for a few minutes there. Whew!

They proceed to "heights" by camperguy. Wow this is hard with the flying Bowser Juniors. It's another dense but short level and they have good fun finishing it. That "throwing shapes" line throws Danny off into a burst of laughter :)

Next up is "mnon?" by a Japanese person. Lots of spinies at the start and fast conveyor belts later on. Arin puts out funny definitions of words. Never saw that cartoon either... Anyway, next time Danny will give it a go!

SUPER MARIO MAKER PART 122 - GHOSTIE, HORROR AND TERROR

Yay they figured out the POW set down thing quickly :)

Lots more stuff to figure out though. Are you really expected to stack all those POWs like that to the other door? That seems near impossible... They decide to move on...

Next up is "Twisted Haunted Horrorscape" by Jaybles.

Some spooky messages written in coins like "Get out" and "Trust will destroy you". But... if I don't trust that message then I am trusting the message by not trusting! Gah!

Other spooky messages too and those weird skinny shitake mushrooms as well.

After completing, they go on to "The 7 Towers of Terror" by K-MONEY.

That Bruno Mars song does sound familiar but not the freaking title! I never watched Super Bowl shows but I remember seeing pictures of the doofy shark they're talking about from Katy Perry's performance.

Some difficult wall jumping sections with the enemies here. I'm glad they noticed the shell helmet. It'll come in handy.

SUPER MARIO MAKER PART 121 - COMPLIMENTS FROM GIRLS

Arin and Danny continue "Three and a Half Puzzles" by conformist.

They talk about compliments received from girls. They're always awesome and not plentiful enough in my opinion!

They move on to "Boss Rush" by RubberRoss... and quickly pass on! They don't want to do it again. It's very possible to stumble across Ross' levels because they're rated so highly.

They escape to "not so easy" by Lupin. Arin is drawn in by the implied taunt!

Aw... that's so sweet to hear about Danny's childhood friend! I know exactly what he means about having that crush and not knowing what to do so you just do silly stunts! Such a bittersweet thing to hear about...

The level is not so difficult after all and they finish and move on to "Mushroom adventure //Speedrun" by Miku90. Quite devilish to put fast conveyor belts behind the pipes!

They talk more about crushes and being eight years old and having crushes. Arrghhhh it's all so true and relatable!

They beat the level and move on to "Ghostie 4 ever! ver2" by Sina. Curious level with lots of portals and doors. If it is an Undertale thing then that must be Flowey they met along the way, made out of a vine and a spiny and the cloud smiley face too.

I wonder if they can gently lay down the POW block so they can get through the door...

SUPER MARIO MAKER PART 120 - SOME PUZZLING, SOME JUST WALKING

Arin and Danny continue "Tricky Castle" by MohdFikree. There are now as many episodes in this series as there are power stars in Super Mario 64! Woo! So this game is their most popular series? It actually makes for some of my most popular blog posts too!

That was a nice end to the Tricky Castle with the huge shoe :)

They go on to "keep walking" by a Japanese person. Nice brief one :)

Yes there's a new Sonic Boom coming to the 3DS. Pretty soon and it's the second one for the 3DS in fact!

Next up is "yoshi's puzzle" by Pablo.

Interesting puzzle here. That slow realisation that they needed Yoshi to continue was pretty funny! As was the disco music that was played on the way back.

You can still do the block breaking with Yoshi but you need the Super Mushroom.

Unfortunately Arin exits the level by accident and loses it forever because it was on a suggested list instead of one that was searched for :( sad when that happens...

They have to move on to "Three and a Half Puzzles" by conformist.

Another tricky one about puzzles and timing! The speedy blue platforms are tricky. Lots of feedback about the second last Pokémon FireRed episode I'd say!
