Arin and Danny beat Ganondorf and begin the Metroidesque escape sequence. Zelda dialogue is back too! Yay! The "Now I can collect insurance!" line is pretty good! The weird crab is here too!
I like that idea of the Stalfos being like "Thanks man!" like Link did him a solid or something!
I love Zelda's sideline commentary and hype about everything other than the battle at hand :)
It takes a few attempts and the chips go down...
Now that I think of it... fighting Ganon reminds me of fighting King Bob-omb in Super Mario 64 and the way he spins really fast immediately after you attack him. You have to let him walk for a moment before he spins slowly again.
Wow... they did the whole Ganondorf battle again off-screen so they could go back outside to collect fairies? Oh man... I don't have the heart to tell them you can just get fairies from the rubble during the Ganon battle like you can with the Iron Knuckles and hearts... Sorry lads if ye're reading this...
So, the epilogue plays through and it's just us enjoying it with the Grumps :) it's quite lovely and things are quiet and it's like we're all saying good night to each other. This was a great series :)
I feel sad, yet happy because the torch is being passed to Sonic And The Black Knight! Woo! Good times ahead! They ain't over!

ZELDA OCARINA OF TIME PART 82 - OH YEAH LV 69 BEEDRILL

Arin and Danny do a funny thing where they say mean things and then end the sentence on a nice thing.
It's cute the way Danny doesn't immediately know that the Pokémon game they played comes on a cartridge. I'm looking forward to seeing them play that again someday and it's great that they have a friend who's grinding levels for them. She's very kind :)
Wow, Danny eats almost no meat besides chicken and turkey etc...? I don't go near those meats! I love pork, beef, venison etc though. Never had rabbit.
They're making good progress and they just dispelled the barrier and they are now climbing the tower. It won't be long now for this playthrough... sadly. I'm really enjoying it.

ZELDA OCARINA OF TIME PART 81 - OMG THE LIKE LIKE EATS TUNICS

Arin and Danny have their Goron Tunic eaten by the Like Like! I had no idea it did that! I thought it just ate Hylian Shields!
Yes I remember all the McDonalds characters... They all kinda disappeared.
I was so worried that Arin was gonna miss the Golden Gauntlets... but he gets them! Yay!

Yup Arin! Reversed controls was what the N64 generation was all about! To this day it's what I prefer! (developers, please always include the option!)
So it looks like the Zelda playthrough was on hiatus due to the recent Overwatch fever gripping everyone. At least they're back :)

ZELDA OCARINA OF TIME PART 79 - GANON AND EGGS

Arin and Danny head to Ganon's Castle.
They compare Link's blue and red primary colours to the ones they wear in their new Dead Rising 2 playthrough. I suppose since this playthrough is nearing the end, the torch-of-long-playthroughness will be passed. Ah... I'll miss Zelda.
They talk about first kisses. It's true they aren't that big a deal. Danny's exploding heart thing sounds nice. Not literally exploding of course.

ZELDA OCARINA OF TIME PART 78 - SHEIK IS...!

Arin appears in a live action skit telling us to exercise at least once a day to be happy. He gives some examples and the words come out of his mouth and up on the screen. He also gives the bat a kiss. D'aw!
Arin and Danny meet Sheik at the Temple of Time. I always thought it was kinda weird when you warped there just before meeting him, but then the cut scene has you walking inside instead of warping there. Arin gives him the Christian Bale Batman voice.
The voice then shifts to other weird masculine narrative voices. He sounds a bit like David Hayter Snake at one stage!
When Zelda is revealed it's a big surprise for Danny! It's lovely to see his reaction to it and the fun continues with more of Zelda's voice speaking. I love the way Arin was trying to keep it under wraps and sometimes almost slipping. That was fun!
Sheik was a "she" in Hyrule Warriors. I wish they kept him as a "he" because I like the disguise.

ZELDA OCARINA OF TIME PART 77 - SITCOM NABOORU

Arin and Danny continue to fight Twinrova. It is more difficult to not target them, but could be fun for me to try. In any case, you can switch off the target by pulling back on the control stick and pressing Z. That's in the switch configuration of course.
Lads! Danny! I can't believe ye! Forgetting Britney Spears' debut hit? That was everywhere back then!
Oh man... I love Tenacious D as well... been a while since I listened to any of their stuff. They would make for an amazing Guest Grumps!

ZELDA OCARINA OF TIME PART 76 - HOLD STILL KOUME AND KOTAKE!

Arin and Danny face Twinrova! Quite a bit of struggling here, but they at least make it to the Double Dynamite Attack. These witches are scary but still kinda goofy too :)
They're still learning a bit about Farore's Wind. They're severely understocked with hearts and magic. No replenishing items either. It's quite tough.
I love the mechanics of this battle and I remember the player's guide I used when this game came out saying "if you can manage this you are very good at games!". It's quite easy to do, but they often go into awkward positions.

Arin and Danny are back with arrows :) they seem to have learned about Farore's Wind too!
This time they managed to set Nabooru free and open the way forward to the bosses.
I can totally imagine Brian getting into a debate about the "unfunny" term :)
I love that moment where the Iron Knuckle realises it's without its weapon and then clicks its fingers for it to magically appear!

ZELDA OCARINA OF TIME PART 74 - THE GREAT ARROW FAMINE

Arin and Danny reach a platform I never noticed before! Wow!
They hit a bit of a snag that gets them lost when they miss the Boss Key, but they fast forward to it.
They talk about the TV news report they had recently and how it came about. Interesting story! I watched that report too by the way and it was really awesome!
It's amazing how there were no arrow refills for ages... I actually never bought arrows in this game before.

ZELDA OCARINA OF TIME PART 73 - FLOATING AND MIMICKING

Arin appears before the video in a skit! This one's about the time he met Chevy Chase!
Arin and Danny start with a belch! Danny then tells the story of this hot hippie lady he knew when he was younger who did the belch and the memory stuck with him. I can really visualise this actually :) a really hot girl doing such a thing and fondly remembering it...ah!
They talk about a game called Stratego. I never played it myself.
They come across those floaty things again that mimic their movements. Danny makes the connection that I never would've made in a million years! That they're like the light green and red things in Link To The Past that follow your movements! (Or the Shy Guys in Link's Awakening) So yeah, they're this game's equivalent! Learning new stuff every day about this legendary game! Thanks Grumps! :)
Also, the strategy that Arin uses is new to me too. I never knew why the block of time could be summoned or why the room is laid out like it is. I always just used Din's Fire or a Fire Arrow to take out these enemies!
However, I could teach them that they don't need to climb up that shifty wall. They can just use the Longshot from below to get a super head start.

It's amazing when they recite the entire Virgin Airlines safety video song thingy word for word together! Imagine watching that over and over... Yeesh!
They mention James Rolfe and how awesome he is. I agree wholeheartedly! I watch as many of his videos as I can as I'm a big fan of his. I'm gonna watch the new Ghostbusters and I think he'll eventually see it too. As for the video he made about refusing to review(a refiew? hmm) I don't see how anyone would have a problem with him after watching that video. He's awesome and one of the nicest people online ever.

ZELDA OCARINA OF TIME PART 71 - IRON KNUCKLE, GAUNTLETS, BUT TOTALLY NOT HERPES

Arin and Danny face an Iron Knuckle! It's funny at the start when Arin teases Danny about herpes jokes! Poor guy! They eventually defeat the Iron Knuckle with bombs.
After the scene with Nabooru, Danny reminisces on the long journey of this game. It is nice and long! 71 episodes and counting too! It's something else :) I remember how happy I was that they were starting it!

Arin and Danny return to the desert as young Link. I love Danny's reaction to the treasure in the tiny hole line :), never thought of it before myself!
Yeah I remember Danny at the end of 2014... he was so exhausted at that point and you could see it in Guild Grumps. Glad he's been good since :)
Wow! I never knew about that strategy Arin used for killing the creepy floaty thing. I always used Din's Fire! I always thought that thing looked really creepy or a bit like a floating poo.

ZELDA OCARINA OF TIME PART 67 - AARGH YOU SABOTAGED US, WANNA JOIN

Arin and Danny take on more Gerudo guards. Refreezing them is not recommended!
You'd think a fast forward would fix everything but nope! It's hilarious though!
No arrows left so they resort to using the Longshot to freeze the Gerudos before swishing the sword at them.
They eventually rescue all the carpenters and Danny is bewildered at how they make them an honorary member in response! Things are barrelling along!

ZELDA OCARINA OF TIME PART 65 - ZEN CARPENTERS

Arin and Danny meet Impa after awakening her as a sage. Arin gives her a... Dane Cook voice? He's pretty tired so he doesn't keep it up. It's the end of a long Grump session!
They head to Gerudo's Valley and talk with the master carpenter. He wanted to know what his workers were doing over there. I love Danny's response about Link returning after 12 days with a beard and say that they were jacking off! That image is just so funny to me!
They shoot some arrows at some Gerudos and Danny comes up with another funny line about having the bow out while chatting one up.
