WHAT MAKES A GAME IMMERSIVE? - HOW ABOUT THIS GAME?
Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xncs1mrMV6o
Barry's analytical show is back! I'm very late in covering it though.

LOVE US, WENDY'S! - GRUMPOUT
Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xObE_glw3Yg
Arin gets a letter from Wendy's which sets him on a journey to Columbus, Ohio for a Wendy's event! Brent and Vernon are there too.
Holy guacamole, the crowd... So many Lovelies! I'm proud! Someday I'd like to try Wendy's too. Not sure how but we'll see.
Love the rap song Arin made over the video and the John Cusack 80s movie reference with the raised boombox. I saw that on their Instagram and it was so awesome :)

POKÉMON ART ACADEMY GALLERY - GRUMPOUT
Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9P3CGYkVPfA
Yes! It's the brilliant gallery exhibition where they took the gag about Suzy being the artist to a whole new level! Suzy's the flamboyant artist, Barry and Ross(psst the real artists) are just waiters, Arin's the eccentric billionaire... what a great idea! I saw a version of this on Holly's channel but I didn't see Brian as the famous art critic work his magic like he's doing here.
Barry's brother Alex appears too and it's fun trying to see him interact with his brother while he's in character! There's Jack looking dapper and offering his own classy analysis. I'm pretty certain that's Chris being a jerk and Vernon and Brent make an appearance too.
Such a great idea for a live event and they pulled it off so well. I love these guys :)

POKÉMON GO PARTY BUS! - GRUMPOUT
Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NBDdGcrTi-s
So many people for this video! Ross introduces the whole thing. The Grumps and their friends got a party bus and went around LA to play Pokémon GO, the hottest smartphone game around!
Love the kazoo freeze frame celebrations :)
Ross offers lots of protips. Arin is excited about all the Pokémon :)
Some game freezing happens.
They head to Venice Beach in their party bus. Much better than the Venga Bus!
Wow, stuff is getting pretty exciting with the people they meet and being all adventuresome in the dark :) must be such a cool thing to do with friends. Sensibly though, of course!
Wow... Tom Hanks would've been a cool Mario... but I thought Danny DeVito was gonna be considered for Mario before Bob Hoskins got the role?
Next up is Santa Monica Pier. The best place to find Pokémon according to Ross.
Arin loudly declares he found a Zubat while pointing at a guy dressed as Batman. Hilarious :) even funnier than the Pikachu dog earlier!
Ross then tries to catch Jesus but he was too powerful :)
Is that an arcade where it says "Games"? Ooo...
They got stuff to eat while they were out too. Yay :)
Wow nice pole dancing by Vernon there on the party bus :)
That's pretty cool how they all talk about what they got at the end to wrap up the video! How nice :) what a lovely night out.

ARIN AND DAN DEFUSE A SCARY BOMB - GRUMPOUT
Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=toOuslUBh24
What the heck is this? I thought this was that Oculus Rift game or something but then I see Arin and Danny suit up and it's all realistic. So it's a real life version of that game? What a concept! There'll be real Pokémon catching next thing you know.
Is the camera operator all suited up like Arin is?
"The book says it, man!... Over!". This is good fun :P
"Stop yellin' at me man! Over!" rollicking good fun!
Oh the camera guy isn't suited up.
Ah "Mat Pat's Gamelab" is what they're promoting. Nice funny voiceover by Arin there :)
So yeah, this was out of the blue!

HOW ABOUT SKYWARD SWORD'S SKY?
Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=chYgDqWW6ho
Whoa, what's this? Is "How About This Game?" a new show? Sounds like a cool idea. In any case it's on GrumpOut and Barry's doing this one on Zelda Skyward Sword.
Staminaaaaaagh! I like that line :)
Barry does this sweet video essay about Skyward Sword's sky. I love that bit about the particle effects. That would be nice and cartoony to see Link have a cloudy Santa beard for a moment! Otherwise, yes I can just imagine the cloudy poofiness as you fly through them and how cool a sensory experience like that would be. Barry expresses this very well :)
And yes, blue skies in games are very important too, as we know from the UKResistance campaign. He makes some good points about it.
I love the live action skit thing with Brian and Audrey and the "PLAYER" sign. Fun stuff :)

Game Grumps at the Petting Zoo
Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HsumYKmur_g
Arin does an MTV like introduction to the video and it's the Grumps at the Ren Fair! Lots of fun noisy captions too!
"Wow he's got hair like me!" Danny says about an alpaca.
Love Holly's costume and hair ornament.
Ross isn't in costume. Maybe he's like Sonic And The Black Knight.
This looks like a fun time! Pity about the standoffish alpaca though.

Loot Whuhhhh??
Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FFGcheWwbGU
Arin and Suzy's LootCrate advert is reuploaded here on its own for our pleasure and information! It's a nice little cosy ad where they play hangman to try and spell out the word LootCrate. Suzy gets to act like a silly kitty here and Arin's played around with like a ball of yarn. D'awh!

The Ad Monster
Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gsnuVYU1tOA
Here is the Ad Monster clip from recent Grump episodes, uploaded to GrumpOut for us to enjoy and get informed about YouTube Red's Ad-Free subscription service!
Brian, Barry, Arin and Suzy do a great job here, getting beaten up and getting paid. Great dialogue at the start too :)
Again, who is the Ad Monster? My guess is still Ross but... man I dunno.

How We Do It
Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5bfQ9F0x9yo
Arin does instructional videos like no one else! It's kind of like the Donkey Kong Country promo! Anyway there's one thing that cracks me up about this and that is the thought of say, multimedia students watching this, being all serious and academic and taking notes while Arin's being all crazy informative, emphasis on the crazy!

Goodbye Old Grump Couch!
Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RselZqOWwsw
Haven't blogged about a GrumpOut video for a while!
This is an interesting one. Ross waits for people to show up to take the couch and among the lovelies he meets, one of them is a couple on their honeymoon! That's great :)
There's a clip of Danny and Arin talking about the couch and the uh.... white stain. The couch is being taken by an awesome lovelie (GageAgnew on Twitter) who plans to play Banjo-Kazooie on it. It's going to a good home :)
After the loading, a little montage plays of the live action moments with the couch with Arin singing a specialised version of time of your life. Then Ross tells the rest in the office all about how it went.
So yeah... my thoughts. That couch has been there since the very first trailers for Game Grumps on Jon and Arin's own YouTube channels. Steam Train too. It has some legacy! They always talked about how cramped it was and when they were getting a new one or whatever and yeah they've been through changes. The whole thing seems to have gone pretty well and that's cool.

I Have a PHD
Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=McXVysQZ0N8
This is a compilation of the 3 videos Brian made for the "I HAVE A PHD" shirt. Dressed all dapper and in this classical academic setting, he has a great screen presence! I really enjoyed these videos when they appeared before the recent Grump episodes. :)

Undertale: Final Showdown
Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GhYYGR3UKAY
This is the uncut version of the livestream finale of Barry and Ross' genocide playthrough of Undertale. Highlights are compiled into the main channel's finale episode, but here it's all uncut and you can see stuff like Ross' cool Papyrus desktop, where he's wearing shades and is all buff and there's also a plate of spaghetti! Cool stuff like this :)
Brian asks them to sum up the playthrough, since he and some chat participants and viewers may be neophytes.
Brian asks Ross to introduce people to what Game Grumps is all about too. The description of it being like Mystery Science Theater 3000 sounds pretty good to me! I never actually watched that show, but I know what it's about.
In the other post, I noticed how Ross was dressed like Papyrus. Now I notice Barry is dressed like Sans too! They got all dressed up for the livestream event :)
Some cute little animations of Danny and Arin appear when something happens in the chat.
Ross even does the Papyrus voice for a little bit! Yay!
After a few attempts, they consider using something other than the keyboard to control, but Barry ends up sticking with what he's using.
Vernon answers some Twitter questions aimed at him that Brian asks.
When they break for pie and spaghetti, Ross and Barry bite into the cinnamon sticks, not knowing they were made of wood. Yikes!
On this day, Steam Train is Stream Train!
I finally learn that the guy in the stocking cap is their Irish intern Jack. Have a label on me, Jack! Remember, it's not jacksepticeye from YouTube! That's a different Irish guy!
Brent makes an appearance too! Brian introduces him to us. He tells his story, a little bit of his curriculum vitae. He gets some questions from the chat too. They talk about beards and homemade peanut butter.
For the rest of the stream, questions are answered from the chat. Brian answers a load of science and math ones. At the end, they thank us for joining them and supporting them and that's it!

Crunchyroll Christmas
Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GGLk5qHqoT4
This is the Christmas Crunchyroll advert, reuploaded for our pleasure! This is the one where Barry is wondering what to buy everyone for Christmas and gets possesed by the Ghost of Anime something or other voiced by Arin. Then he acts like a crazy action anime hero voiced by Arin and tells Suzy about Crunchyroll's subscription offer. Love the ending too, where he spits out the ghost as balls of paper. Mleeeaaahhhh.

Best Fiends Forever
Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KKKOpKvk9Ok
This is the Best Fiends Forever ad that was shown before an Undertale episode, released here on its own for our pleasure!
Barry's using his phone, minding his own business until Arin comes along and asks him if he's watching anime.
"No! Not another ad!" Barry pleads, but it's not what we expect! It's for a game this time!
I like the "red handed" gag and the slow sliding to get Arin's phone. Also, the too close to comfort whisper is funny too! Have a look!

Undertale Genocide Part 9.5
Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q6CJQ2yYCTM
Ooo! Behind the scenes DVD extra-like thingy! This is from the recent Undertale Genocide playthrough on Steam Train where the brave and patient Barry makes many attempts at fighting Undyne the Undying. As for Ross, he takes note of the time and scampers off to eat his freshly delivered ramen. (I'm having some too as I type this, but it's cup noodles:) )
Poor Barry fights on, even though he's hungry too! He fights instead of doing commentary so he can concentrate more. All you can hear is the boss BGM and Barry muttering swears when he gets hit.
Brian makes an appearance too, complete with captioned dialogue! Only for real life stuff though, as we see in the onscreen explanation provided that's styled like Undertale's text. There's also a death counter for our convenience!
At least Barry got to take a break for dinner. While he's gone, we can hear a vacuum cleaner. We are literally flies on the wall of the Grump Space!
After a lot of vacuuming, Barry comes back and resumes his intense concentration on the boss battle.
While Barry looks for tips online, we hear what the music sounds like sped up. Is this your doing, Kevin? Thanks! There's also more vacuuming and Ross comes in to check. He stays.
He and Barry are quiet for the rest of the session while Barry dodges all these insane spear patterns from Undyne. Eventually, he beats her! This is where episode 10 begins!
Well done, Barry! I can see what you went through; the victory is well earned and the cheer has an even bigger effect!

Introducing Brian!
Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G3eL_Pws2Zw
Brian's official introduction reuploaded to GrumpOut for our pleasure!
Very fun skit about inventing the internet and love and how Brian was the building block of every funny thing that happened with the show! They all say their hellos and Brian mixes Kevin up with some dude named Gavin, whoever that is.
"I'm in a band with you!" says Danny. "Huh, so am I" says Arin. Nice way to reference Ninja Sex Party and Starbomb! I don't know if that little clip of the underbite dinosaur was in the original though.

The Crunchyroll Song
Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zBh1lqN5Le0
Another wonderful Crunchyroll ad previously accompanied in an episode, now uploaded here for our viewing pleasure!
Arin disturbs Suzy's New 3DS XL playtime to talk more about Crunchyroll. Brilliant cameo by Danny here, who ducks out of the way just in time! She suggests writing a song and Arin's gets all inspired!
He goes to the keyboard and belts out a power ballad about how you can be the coolest kid on your block if you get in on Crunchyroll's offer. He'd be a worthy contender on one of those song competitions on T.V.!

Grumpcade Intro
Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3vJGHU-e2ZI
This is the introduction to Grumpcade when it first came out, now reuploaded to GrumpOut on its own for us to enjoy!
On reaching a very high number of subscribers, Ross wants to celebrate by playing a console game. HOWEVER, he's a PC guy on the show, so a new show has to be created called Grumpcade!
The Grumps are over and back discussing this idea, including Danny who is totally there(not there) through the power of editing!
