KATAMARI FOREVER PART 26 - ODE TO KEVIN

Arin and Danny give a shout out to Kevin, who has moved on from Game Grumps to do other things. He wants to cut move trailers and I hope he gets to do it, because there is definitely room for improvement in the movie trailers that are coming out lately! But yeah... I was wondering about Kevin and I'll miss him.
Matt and Ryan of SuperMega are on board now and they're doing a good job editing. I love the improvisations they do with Deadly Premonition. It actually helps make the series more enjoyable!
I just re-watched the skit that introduced Kevin in the Domino Rally episode. His name will always be in the Big Ol' Book Of RAD EDITORS. :) Thank you Kevin!
So yeah, Arin and Danny are doing a nice snowball level, making a nice snowman head.
I never saw the 60s Batman movie and I'd love to watch it sometime...

6969 - NSP, MY REVIEW!

Ninja Brian is happily meditating in his room when Danny Sexbang casually walks in and invites him to try out his awesome time machine space ship. They'll have to come back to the part before they wreck the house while going into orbit!
Arin's the narrator and plays as the evil dictator of the sexless future.
This spaceship in orbit is awesome! Flying around and the music it reminds me of Galaxy High. Ninja Brian's dressed a lot like Kick-Ass and Danny's dancing and slipping around hilariously on his "Space Lube" :)
Absolutely love the Holo-Deck where Danny's frolicking around with girls and velcro underpants until Ninja Brian switches it off into the cool grid effect thing. Some fantastic detail here, like the "BooberTime" instead of BurgerTime arcade cabinet.
So yeah after some sexy trekking, they travel to the year 6969 where everyone gets laid and there's sure to be unicorns, delicious desserts and orgies everywhere! But then, Oh no! It's a dystopian sexless future where human touch is outlawed!
"Without the thrill of boning, what is life?" our heroes ask themselves. A very real question we can all ask ourselves in real life too.
They go to the Council Of Dick Elders to speak up about this problem but then it all goes horribly wrong when it's revealed they're behind this evil sexless future! They're played by Arin, Kevin, Barry and Ross. Danny and Ninja Brian flee to their space ship time machine and "get ready for a sexy fight!" with Danny's "Sparkle Of Hope!".
Danny's space suit reminds me a bit of Samus Aran's Zero Suit. I like the evil council's spiky shoulder pads too!
NSP locate a hot girl and Danny beams down in his super NSP costume and cape and gets ready to save her and the Earth from a sexless loveless future! The girl is rescued along with her friends because Danny's the hero that's why! I like the stunt dummy Danny that had to be used. It's a very dangerous job after all, taking on and liberating thousands of years of sexual repression!
Markiplier appears as a news reporter reporting on this end of the world orgy that is now spreading. Maybe we can write an essay on how this is a metaphor for YouTube bringing in all rules and stuff? Media trying to control the masses? Could be something there :)
The unconvinced evil council then strike back and exciting battling follows. Though brief, because Ninja Brian makes short work of every single one of them!
The new world becomes beautiful, with dreamy starry pink skies, flowers everywhere and everyone is happy and dancing! Their job done, Danny entrusts the future to the hot girl he saved before leaving for his own time. Very Chrono Trigger-esque story where they travel to the future to save it!
As they leave, a giant pile of dominoes in the pattern of the year 6969 are tumbled. The future is saved and our heroes go home!
So yeah, who wouldn't love this Chrono Trigger-like story about awesome dudes having fun flying through space, time travelling and frolicking in the Holo-Deck and end up having to save the sexy future of the world? Reminds me of the storytelling nature of Tenacious D's "City Hall" where "we will all travel in tubes!".

BABY DADDY - BY KLN

WOW! What an amazing cartoon! It's inspired by Ross and Brian's playthrough of the astounding and original "Who's Your Daddy" game, where the daddy player has to stop the baby player from killing itself.
First of all, Brian's character is incredible. He's like an antagonistic Baby Herman type, five o'clock shadow and everything. Ross as the antagonised daddy, which is a kind of a situation flip for his usual known character, completes the cat and mouse situation! Speaking of which, yes, this is miles better than any of the Tom & Jerry cartoons where they have to save a baby from killing itself.
The other grumps are depicted here briefly. Stay 'til the very end!
I love the opening where they're coming out of the Looney Tunes style circles too.
Actually, there are so many references and gags to other stuff like Burgie, Gameoverse, the Chris Pratt watermelon, Channing Tatums, Elevator Action, stuff spelled out in letter fridge magnets, inside fan-jokes like the Twitter prom thing between restaurant franchises etc that you'd have to watch this cartoon several times to catch all of them. It's one of those cartoons that keeps on giving and I absolutely adore this. Well done!

Happy Belated Birthday Kevin! (I'm really late with posts lately whew...)
Anyway hope you had a great day! Kevin's kept going all the time I'd say with his role as an editor. He was great in the Single Train and Stout Train episodes this year and I hope he continues to be awesome and to see him now and again online, even if it is just in editor text or on the gamegrumpsofficial Instagram.

DARK SOULS III PART 38 - HUNDREDS OF JIMMIES, THOUSANDS OF SPRINKLES

Arin appears in another skit before the episode, speaking in a deep voice about Kevin and gives out his Twitter handle @Earth2kvn. I do think Kevin is too handsome, but not suspiciously so!
Arin and Danny discuss improvised singing and coming up with rhymes.
"Jimmies" instead of sprinkles? Over here we call them "Hundreds & Thousands" :)
Kind of a nerve wracking time either avoiding the giant's fists or the giant rats in the tunnel!
I wouldn't worry about feeling lost Danny, I feel just as lost with this game's world too!

Jack, Vernon, Barry, Ross and Kevin appear again for more singing, drinking and laughing. It's a good thing this only happens once a year!
I may be Irish but personally I don't drink. I'd rather drink those minty milkshakes that fast food places have at this time of year.
They get Jack to read as the Lucky Charms leprechaun and it's gas! I love it :)
I don't get offended by this kind of thing by the way!
Also, Lucky Charms isn't sold in Ireland except through import and are usually sold in sweet shops instead of the cereal aisle of the supermarket :)
Afterwards, Jack is trying to teach Kevin how to say Stout Train in his accent. Best part :)

Girp and Clop - Addicted By Annoyance

Jack, Vernon, Barry, Ross and Kevin appear before the video again for more antics. They sing a drinking song before they start.
Vernon joins Barry and Ross here in the games. Girp is a game that keeps you emotionally engaged by being annoying. Same with Clop. When I play these games I'm annoyed but still have the impulse to play, probably like the way a cat is compelled to chase a laser pointer.
When they get over a cliff safely it's like the biggest happiest moment! I guess it's best to play it in a party situation!

They get Jack to explain some stuff about it and you just have to look at the expression on Ross' face! It's priceless! So yeah, they pour their stuff, clink their branded pint glasses and show the before and after effect of so many cans. This goes on for about the first 7 minutes.
Then the laughing starts when a cartoon guy in a cow costume, complete with udder appears on the screen!
The game itself is appropriate for the occasion I suppose.

Decided to check this out on Suzy's Mortem3r channel because of the title. Some cool fly-on-the-wall stuff here :)
That walk and "wishtree" footage is nice. Wishtree is a nice name. It's a lot nicer than "pissybeds" anyway!
But yeah. A vlog about Grump "office" stuff like Monday meetings and plans for the day and stuff. Not going into too much detail though but yeah, cool! Everyday office type stuff! Kevin's there and Ross and Barry are there too and they're wearing glasses! Maybe they're for looking at screens for long hours?
The bonus footage is where she and Arin are biting into green bell peppers. It's described as "celery mixed with onion". It's mild pepper gaming! Woo!

Yay it's the original Steam Train duo, Ross and Danny! Kevin joins them too! They're playing his friend's new and upcoming game and he gives us all the details.
Ross does a really good old man voice!
So it's a point and click indie grimdark platformer type of thing and they all seem to like it.
Wow, the kidnapped daughter looks like she's being crucified or something. That's a chilling image...

Very fun skit about inventing the internet and love and how Brian was the building block of every funny thing that happened with the show! They all say their hellos and Brian mixes Kevin up with some dude named Gavin, whoever that is.
"I'm in a band with you!" says Danny. "Huh, so am I" says Arin. Nice way to reference Ninja Sex Party and Starbomb! I don't know if that little clip of the underbite dinosaur was in the original though.

First post about Game Grumps merchandise!(I think. I'll make a label anyway) Anyway, they always accompany these videos with wonderful and hilarious live action skits which make them worth watching!
Poor Arin's all grumpy about Christmas so Suzy gets Danny, Ross, Barry, Kevin and Brian all together to try and cheer him up. The narration is subtitled too, which is a nice touch.
The merchandise on offer includes t-shirts and stationery, which are detailed towards the end of the video.
I think this is Brian's first appearance on a merchandise video too, though I'm not sure. That looks like him on one of the posters as well.

Burger Time - Grumpcade

BRIAN'S DEBUT! Also the first blog post about Grumpcade! It opens with a live action skit about Arin introducing Brian in an epic opening backstory and to the others in the Grump family. Have a look!
Another first is Danny on Grumpcade. Big introduction that goes on until Danny starts screaming for the game to start. Let's go!
Brian is great at this game and knows all the strategies. Just like his Ninja Sex Party band partner Danny, he says "board" instead of "level". If you follow these guys online this is a wonderful chance to see how they work together and how they influence each other's humour.
Brian reaches level 4 before getting a game over. Trying again he gets a game over in the same level. Uhh...
Brian says he's much better at the arcade version so maybe we'll see him tackle that in a future episode!
Seriously though, this episode was a must watch for me, seeing Brian in action and hearing him talk with the others. May there be many more Brian appearances!
