Just the Arins today to play Getting Over It With Bennett Foddy. Long episode of frustration ahead!
Arin falls and Bennett's commentary is like "sorry about that" and Arin's like "No you're not!". At least he says he saves your progress.
That soothing jazz piano is very much like The Charlie Brown and Snoopy Show when something bad happens and Charlie Brown is all melancholy.
That house really messes him up. More music plays, some kind of yodelling bluesy bluegrassy music.
After many more falls, Bennett Foddy's commentary puts out quotes by famous people and Arin's even more frustrated!
I gotta say, watching this is nerve wracking! I have watched others play it before and it never gets any less so.
Arin mentions something about streamers playing this game but I do remember the Sexy Hiking game that inspired this. It was a long time ago, before streaming culture. I didn't spend much time playing it. I preferred playing games like Seiklus!
Arin eventually quits. That pure almost vertical tunnel looks really tough alright. Also, those stairs nearby look like an awful tease! You'd nearly expect Bennett Foddy to appear there and lean on the railing, looking at you.
