This cartoon was inspired by the playthrough of the game where they just turn in to a big blob of people mashed together. It doesn't get more Akira than this!
Arin and Danny and the others are done in Patrick Stannard's style from the Bologna Man cartoon. Then they all meld into this Akira like blob. Danny expresses himself in various ways as to how gross and ridiculous his situation is while various Akira and kaiju references are made throughout the cartoon. Great visual wit and matched so well with the dialogue!
Also love the gross arm at the end that pulsates to the rhythm of the Game Grumps theme song.
