Arin and Danny try out this NES game show adaptation. I don't remember Double Dare on TV... We didn't get Nickelodeon over here until the 90s so maybe that's the reason. Not sure though.
The music sounds like Rare music and sure enough it was developed by them! :)
They both struggle with the banana throwing game. They gotta get the gorilla to catch the bananas by doing something with angle and speed. They land 1 single banana after lots of agitation!
"Brazilian" is a sneaky option for that question about language :)
Marc Summers sounds like a nice guy. Pity about his OCD troubles. Sounds a bit like Howie Mandel and I thought Danny was confusing them at first.
They fare better with the bowling game :) and the cake catching game!
This video is very cosy because it reminds me of the older Grump episodes where they played these crazy NES game show games :) weird how nostalgia works sometimes! Weird intense feeling.
Arin narrowly wins the quiz and it's on to the physical obstacle course! It's got all weird controls and he has to spend the most part trying to learn them!
After that it's just credits! Yeah David Wise music :) His music carries so much nostalgia. The Stampers too of course. They did crazy cool stuff with games back in the day. Arin and Danny make some fun quips on the end graphic screen :) Otto the Busdriver, wisdom teeth... triangles... some last bits of fun there :)
