Barry and Ross go shopping in the Fourside Dept. Store.
A mad shopping spree it is too! Barry even has to return to the ATM.
Ross talks about various things while Barry's shopping, like the trope about an ordinary dude having to save the world in a story, or healers in anime compared to healers in MMORPGS.
That's not a koala... come on Ross...
Quokkas are indeed ridiculously cute and photogenic. Nice pictures Ross took of them :)
Barry sets up a suspense thing and Ross cops it right away! Haha, nice :)
But yeah, the lights go off and they have to face the Dept. Store Spook at the top. Pallf's kidnapped so they have to go rescue her too at the Monotoli building.
Barry corrects himself on the EarthBound Beginnings/EarthBound connection. Yeah this game is a sequel to the other one, though it's kinda like how the early Dragon Quest games are connected. Different generation of kids.
They meet Everdred lying on the street, who tips them off about something behind the counter in the café. Barry sets it up as a cliffhanger and he's not kidding about it being fun :)
