Exploding trees in RPGs... that's a regular thing isn't it? Like Mimics? I'm trying to remember if Dragon Quest had exploding trees. I never usually ran away from the trees. Those diamond prism shaped enemies always looked terrifying though!
Never knew about the regenerating butterfly trick! That'll be pretty handy in future :)
