The whole open world run anywhere you want thing hasn't really been done before in the Sonic series. I think there was a thing in Sonic Jam alright but nothing like this.

I gotta say it all looks pretty darn cool and one of the great things about Steam Train is the way they can play mods, hacks, fangames etc. :)
