Yeah the fight segments have very jazzy music accompanying them :)
They talk about Ross when he still had his Australian accent. But yeah, you can pick up the "brogue" when you move to another place. Not always but it can happen.
Ah the flying floaty enemies... They were my least favourite in the game when I played as they were harder to hit.
