The train doesn't fast travel since it's revisited? Yikes...
They can sleep it off at least but still have to stop at that intermediate stop. I guess it's nice that they can still revisit the train interior as a previous area.

The Bob-omb they ask for permission does a psychology test thing about their willingness to use the cannon. They choose the option to give all money and afterwards he gives it back. Must remember this myself for when I play this someday :)
I wonder if the train trip back to Rogueport was timed or did some event have to trigger it?
