Arin and Danny are back to play the latest Shovel Knight DLC! They bring us up to speed on their play history of this game so far. By the time they were playing the co-op mode, my fan blog was in full swing! :)
They call their save file "Rudy". No co-op unfortunately this time. Ah well. Danny likes riding shotgun :) even though we may not get something brilliant like the "INFINIDAGGER!" exclamations :)
So this story takes place before the main game and it's free if you bought it, which is cool. It's a decent way to do things!
They go through the opening stage and get used to the new move set for this different character.
Interesting topic Danny brings up about rooting for the villain... I don't know if I've ever done that either but I'm not sure.
They talk about the Christian Bale rant thing again and about Terminator Salvation.
Those turkey skeleton health pickups are pretty cool :)
They face the Black Knight, a snazzy exchange of words and a snazzier exchange of blows then follow. They win, finishing the first level, and beginning the new adventure! Woo! Nice scene to end at too, where Specter Knight is looking over the landscape while hanging off a spire up high.
I'm gonna have to get used to spelling "Specter" instead of "Spectre", which is how I'd usually spell the word :/ ah well.
