Arin and Danny reference Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers' "I Won't Back Down" for encouragement :)
Danny gives a pep talk about getting older and not giving up and not being all defeatist. It's pretty inspiring. :)
Arin brings up the "anti-snowflake" thing that contributes to this defeatist outcome as well and that can be pretty damaging.
In general, working hard to practise and do something great that you wanna do is what they're talking about.
If no one believes in you "I believe in you!" Danny says to us :) and "Don't let life live you!" he also says. I love this.
Some great motivational talk here and definitely something we all need right now. It's good timing and it'll be worth coming back to this episode later too.
